AP build

STR primary; keep total DEX (base + gear) only at your next weapon's requirement. Lv1-10 all STR; Lv10-30 mostly 4 STR / 1 DEX; Lv31-36 3 STR / 2 DEX; Lv37-57 4 STR / 1 DEX; Lv58+ all STR once DEX reaches 60 base.

  1. Lv1-10: all AP into STR (about 57 STR / 5 DEX at Lv10). No DEX needed to advance.
  2. Lv10-30: ~4 STR / 1 DEX per level with a few 3/2 levels; target ~135 STR / 27 DEX at Lv30.
  3. Lv31-36: 3 STR / 2 DEX per level (~153 STR / 39 DEX at Lv36).
  4. Lv37-57: 4 STR / 1 DEX per level (~237 STR / 60 DEX at Lv57).
  5. Lv58-70: all STR (~302 STR / 60 DEX at Lv70). Lv70 2H weapons need 70 total DEX; cover the rest with gear.
  6. Lv70-100 (our estimate): keep DEX at weapon requirement, rest STR.
  7. Pitfall: adding DEX for damage or advancement is wasted; levels add ACC (~0.8 ACC per level vs 0.48 per DEX). Use Precise Strikes, gear and Sniper potions to fix accuracy.
  8. Pitfall: check gear DEX before adding base DEX; you may need less than 60.

SP build

1st job (levels 10–29)

  1. Beginner: Three Snails 3, Recovery 3, Nimble Feet 3 by Lv10
  2. Lv10-12: Power Strike 4, Slash Blast 3
  3. Lv13-14: Slash Blast 4, Precise Strikes 5
  4. Lv15-20: Power Strike to 20 (max), Slash Blast 6
  5. Lv21-25: Slash Blast to 20 (max), Precise Strikes 6
  6. Lv26-28: Precise Strikes to 15 (max)
  7. Lv29-30: Improved HP Recovery 3, Max HP Increase 3
  8. Skip: Iron Body. Don't rush Max HP Increase (no longer adds HP per level, so delaying costs nothing).
  9. 2nd-job SP cannot be spent on 1st-job skills: finish this by Lv30.

2nd job (level 30+)

  1. Lv30: Rush 1
  2. Lv31-38: Weapon Mastery (Sword or Axe) to 20; Booster 1 at Mastery 5; Final Attack 1-2
  3. Lv39-48: Rage to 30
  4. Lv49-57: Final Attack to 30
  5. Lv58-64: Booster to 20
  6. Lv64-70: Rush to 20 (1 SP spare at 70)
  7. Lv71-100 (our estimate): all Fighter skills are maxed by ~Lv70; extra SP has nowhere to go until 3rd job.
  8. Options: Booster 10 or Rush 10 earlier for upkeep/mobility. Don't push Rush early (Rush 1 costs 35 MP). Pick sword vs axe before spending Mastery SP. Turn Final Attack off when Power Strike already one-shots.
  9. Classic changes: Final Attack proc 25% (was 50% in test), Rush moved into 2nd job (6 targets, 15 MP at max), Power Guard is 3rd job.
